It’s about making sure your pets feel comfortable, cared for, engaged, and happy while you’re away. From neighborhood walks and in-home visits to overnight stays and outdoor adventures, I provide personalized care designed around your pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs.

Whether your dog loves a good trail adventure, your cat prefers a quiet visit at home, or your pets simply need some extra companionship while you’re away, I’m here to give them the attention and care they deserve.

Meet the Pack

I'm Sheila, the heart behind Raven's Paws and Paths, and I've been an animal lover and devoted pet parent for more than 40 years. Dogs, cats, hamsters, bearded dragons, and many other four-legged and scaled companions have been part of my life, and I've also had the privilege of fostering dozens of animals over the years.

The Story Behind the Name
Raven's Paws and Paths began with a dog I never intended to keep.
While I was in college, I found an injured dog in a ditch. She was anemic, covered in scars, and clearly had a difficult past. I brought her home with a simple plan: scan for a microchip, find her family, or foster her. Well... Raven was home to stay.

She quickly became my ride-or-die and faithful co-pilot. Together, we explored beaches, mountains, trails, and countless miles of road. She was my heart dog. She also had a special gift for helping me rehabilitate foster dogs who were scared or struggling to trust people.

Raven taught me the joy of sharing the world with a dog through exploration, adventure, and simply being together. That's the inspiration behind Raven's Paws and Paths. Today, I want to give other pets that same loving care, companionship, and adventure.

Raven may no longer be walking the paths beside me, but she is still part of every adventure.

Dog Walking, Pet Sitting & Adventure Services

Because your dog knows every single tile on the living room floor by heart, and your cat is starting to judge your life choices. We take your best friend on epic outdoor adventures to burn off that extra chaos. You get to work in peace, your couch survives another day, and your pet comes home ready to sleep for 12 hours straight.

Walks take place in your neighborhood or nearby areas, giving your pup the opportunity to get exercise, sniff, explore, and enjoy a little time outside at their own pace.

In-Home Pet Visits
Up to 4 pets
30-minute visit — $25
60-minute visit — $40
Additional 60 minutes — +$25
Additional pet — $7
In-home visits are personalized to your pets’ needs and may include feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, playtime, cuddles, medication, and other routine care.

Overnight Care
Up to 4 pets
Overnight stay — $75/night
Additional pet — $12/night
Your pets stay comfortably at home while I stay with them overnight. Walks, playtime, feeding, and their normal routines are all part of their care.

Adventure options
Trail Walks & Hikes — Starting at $85
Longer outings on local trails with plenty of time to explore, sniff, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors.
Extended Outdoor Adventures — Starting at $100
More time, more exploration, and more adventure for dogs who love being outside.
Paddleboarding Adventures — Starting at $150
Up to 4 hours of fun on the water, tailored to your pup’s comfort and abilities. Life jackets are provided, and outings are subject to weather, water conditions, and safety considerations.
Adventure pricing may vary based on duration, location, transportation, and activity.

Request a Meet & Greet

Ready to get started? Tell me a little about you, your pets, and the care you want. I’ll find a convenient time to meet and make sure Raven’s Paws and Paths is the right fit for your pack.

I Meet You & Your Pets

This is where we get acquainted. I’ll meet your pets, learn their personalities, routines, favorite activities, and any quirks that make them unique. It’s also your chance to get to know me and ask any questions.

I Create Their Care Plan

Every pet is different, so their care should be too. Together, we’ll create a personalized care plan covering walks, feeding, medications, routines, adventures, and anything else your pets need to feel cared for, comfortable, and happy.

I Take Care of the Rest!

Once everything is set, you can relax knowing your pets are in caring, capable hands. I’ll follow their care plan, keep them happy and engaged, and provide updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

About Services

Dogs and cats are at the heart of Raven’s Paws and Paths, but I’m also happy to discuss care for other pets, including small animals, birds, reptiles, and other household companions. Let’s talk about your pet’s specific needs during the Meet & Greet.

Adventure options may include trail walks, hikes, longer outdoor outings, and paddleboarding.

Adventure lengths vary depending on the activity. Shorter trail outings may be closer to a traditional walk, while extended adventures and paddleboarding can be several hours. We’ll discuss what makes sense for your pet when booking.

Yes, when requested. We can discuss reasonable household tasks during the Meet & Greet.

Adventures and Safety

Your pet’s safety comes first. Paddleboarding adventures are only appropriate for dogs who are comfortable with the activity and conditions. Dog life jackets are provided, and all outings are subject to weather, water conditions, water quality, and other safety considerations.

Outdoor adventures depend on safe conditions. If weather, heat, water conditions, or other circumstances make an outing unsafe, I may modify, postpone, or reschedule the adventure.

Scheduling & Pricing

Holiday rates may apply during peak holiday periods. Any applicable holiday pricing will be discussed before your booking is confirmed.

Cancellation policies will depend on the type of service and how far in advance the cancellation is made.

Accepted payments are all major credit cards, Venmo, and Cash App. A 50% deposit will be required upon booking adventure services, and the remaining amount is due within 24 hours of completed services.
